What preparation is involved in epoxy flooring?
Shot blasting or grinding the concrete is usually required for epoxy to bond. We prefer to fill cracks and voids at this stage. As with anything, preparation is the most important step.
Are all epoxies the same?
No. We will ask about how the floor will be used, the performance you expect and your budget to choose the best system for you. For example, kitchens need a special type of finish and sometimes a seamless cove base, while a residential garage may use a different process entirely.
How do I clean my epoxy floor?
It depends on the system you choose. Most epoxy floors can be cleaned with a detergent such as Dawn dish soap, or a mild degreaser to remove oil stains and spills.
